As a young, idealistic winemaker Bruce Jack dreamt of making one red wine from my own estate. – “My vision was to blend this wine mainly from two varieties that I loved then and still love today - Shiraz and Malbec. I would compliment this blend with small amounts of idiosyncratic varieties with very distinctive individual characters like Touriga Macional, Barbera and Tannat. These would be added in the same way one adds a pinch or herbs or a sprinkle of salt and pepper to a dish. And so that’s exactly what I planted on our family estate. This wine is the culmination of that dream.”
